  • When making repairs on your appliances, be sure you know what you are doing. You can do damage that will be very expensive to repair or even impossible to fix.
  • Always use proper safety around electricity, gas and other power sources when working on appliances.

Dishwasher:

  • If it doesn t work when you close the door, check the door switch.
  • If it doesn t drain, check the drain hoses, the air gap and the belts. One of these may be clogged or need replacing.
  • If it doesn t run properly or drain properly, check to see if the motor is stuck.

Dryer:

  • If your dryer does not operate, check to see if the door switch is broken.
  • If there is not heat, check the igniter switch, the gas valve coils and the thermal fuse.
